Mercedes-Benz 8-cylinder cars of the 1930s (vol. 1) - From the 460, 500 Nürburg to the 770 and G 4
The Mercedes-Benz 460 Nürburg was the first Mercedes production eight-cylinder car. It was quickly followed by the 500 and 500 N and finally the more modern 380 that was also available with compressor.
A different approach was taken with the mighty 770, launched in 1930. It should simply represent the best in technology, quality and comfort, money could buy at that time in Europe.
The all-terrain G4 vehicle was exclusively used by Third Reich officials and military top brass.
This 240-page book tells you their story. It walks you through the cars' development and history, and discusses most of the coachbuilders. All this is accompanied by superb color photography.
