Allard Motor Company - Beyond the Records
The Allard Motor Company archives provide valuable insight into the company's history and its influence on the British automotive industry. Covering the manufacturer's operational years from 1946 to 1958, these records have been scanned and included in this book, along with rare official photographs, documents, and correspondence.
A reference spreadsheet allows Allard owners to locate information on their specific cars, while general readers can explore the significant impact this small British manufacturer had on motoring history.
Author Gavin Allard, grandson of Sydney Allard, who led the company in post-war Britain, details the people behind the cars, the dealerships that sold them, and the customers who owned them. This two-volume work is presented in hardcover with dust jackets and a slipcase.

This book presents the story of Sydney Herbert Allard's achievements in motorsport and car manufacturing, co-authored by his son. Based on facts rather than legend, it offers a detailed account of his company's successes. With contributions from the Allard Owners' Club and Allard Register, it provides extensive research covering Allard's history from 1929 to the present, including previously unpublished material.
Fewer than 2.000 Allard cars were built, and around 510 are known to still exist, either on the road or under restoration. More may yet be found - one long-lost 1930s "Allard Special" was discovered during the writing of this book. Topics include engineering and design details of each model, previously unseen projects, Allard's role in motorsport, and its history in the USA.
