Das grosse Mercedes Heckflossen-Buch (Reprint)
Much of the fascination of the "Fintail" models from 1959 to 1968 from Daimler-Benz has been preserved to this day. Their very distinctive external shape, which clearly reflected the spirit of the times, the idea of ??a standard model in a consistent manner - this was never seen again under the sign of the star - and a big step into the future with safety technology implemented for the first time in series production have characterized this special car.
And there is another impressive thing about the cars: when rare pieces like the 300 SE or the coupes and convertibles had long been sought-after collector's items, many a 220 was still in the careful care of its first owner and countless 190s and 200s were being driven around Germany, but above all in southern countries, in daily use. The importance of a model series cannot be better described.
This book aims to pass on the multi-layered fascination that emanates from the vehicles described to fans of classic automobiles.
