Alfa Romeo & Formula 1 : From the first World Championship to the long-awaited return

The partnership between Sauber and Alfa Romeo brings a historic name back to Formula 1. Alfa Romeo was a central part of the series from the beginning, dominating the 1950 and 1951 seasons. The brand's long history includes the Autodelta era, the partnership with Brabham, and the return with its own factory team.

This book covers these major periods along with lesser-known stories, such as the collaborations with McLaren, March, and Ligier, and the use of Alfa Romeo engines by private racers. The text is supported by hundreds of color and black-and-white images, many of which have never been published before. It also includes a complete list of Alfa Romeo's Formula 1 racing results.

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale: The Courage to Dream

NEW

In 1967, Alfa Romeo introduced the 33 Stradale, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever made. In 2023, the brand set out to create its successor, building only thirty-three cars that honour and update the original.

Over more than 110 years, Alfa Romeo has built cars praised for design and performance. Henry Ford said he tipped his hat when an Alfa Romeo passed by. Enzo Ferrari, who once drove Alfa Romeo cars, remarked that "at Alfa Romeo they know how to sew gloves for flies."

This book recounts the car's history and its bold redesign through the voices of its creators: from the CEO who launched the project, to the design director who reshaped its lines, and the engineers who delivered its performance.
Readers gain access to the design studio, follow early sketches and prototype development, and discover the final cars, each tailored for collectors worldwide and sold at a high price before production began.

Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 - The remarkable history of 115.72.002 (Exceptional Cars)

The Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 was developed by the Autodelta racing department for the 1972 World Championship for Makes. While it was difficult to beat Ferrari, the car frequently finished on the podium. A major highlight was the Targa Florio road race in Sicily, where Helmut Marko finished in second place, nearly winning the event.

Marko drove chassis 115.72.002, which became the most successful of all T33/TT/3 models. After its time with the factory team, the car competed in races and hillclimbs in Greece. It eventually returned to Europe and is still driven today in historic racing events.

This book features a wide collection of historical and modern images, many of which have never been seen before. It also includes detailed color photographs that highlight the car's technical features.

Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 / 1967

This book focuses exclusively on the development of the Tipo 33 and the motorsport activities of the car during 1967. It was a long held belief that there was only scarce documentation available concerning Autodelta, the motorsport company.
With the help of Dr. Marco Fazio we were able to unearth various diverse records from the Alfa Romeo archives which contained detailed reports of the race activities of Autodelta. With such records to hand we were able to build an complete picture, free of any doubt, of the cars that participated in races during 1967 in the works team.

In addition to the racing participation of the Tipo 33 we have also covered aspects of the Tipo 33 Stradale and the related Alfa Romeo OSI Scarabeo.

Work on a second book covereing the 1968 racing season is currently under way.
