PZL P.11c
This book tells the story of Poland's most famous fighter aircraft, the PZL P.11. Designed and built by Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze (PZL), it marked an important step in the transition from biplane to monoplane fighters. The first P.11 flew in 1931, and the improved P.11c entered service with the Polish Air Force in 1934.
At the time of the German invasion in 1939, twelve Polish fighter squadrons were equipped with the P.11c. During the campaign, the 114 aircraft lost accounted for about 120 enemy aircraft shot down.
The book includes 1/48 scale plans, photographs and drawings from period technical manuals, colour artwork showing camouflage and markings, walk-around colour photographs of the only surviving aircraft, and rare black-and-white images. It is a valuable reference for aviation historians, enthusiasts, and scale modellers.
