Les avions Breguet (Vol. 1) - L'ère des biplans
An engineer through and through, Louis Breguet turned away from electrical construction after 1905 to launch himself into aeronautics. He first experimented with rotary wings, then concentrated on biplane architecture with moderate success.
This book presents and structures the beginnings of its production, which will be at n°150 in 1914 at the declaration of war. Its aircraft with single star engines, sluggish, or rotary double star, unreliable, are not favored by the Army. Reestablished thanks to the Michelin brothers, then to the Type XIV produced with Marcel Vullierme, it continues after the war on its momentum with the Types XIX and 27, but if the notoriety then the 'honors' project it to the forefront, its permanent objective of developing air transport is only partially achieved. All its types of aircraft known before about 1933, including some nanards, are presented with photos and 3-views in the same spirit as in a previous volume devoted to Morane-Saulnier aircraft.

Histoire d'un avion de légende: Breguet XIV - Des tranchées à l'Aéropostale
Achieving the impossible... Eighteen years ago, Eugène Bellet took on the crazy challenge of reviving the Breguet XIV, a legendary aircraft that had a brilliant military and then civilian career. A bomber, a player in the 1918 victory and an aircraft of the Lignes aérienne Latécoère, the Breguet XIV is being honoured several decades later thanks to an extraordinary journey along the paths of the Aéropostale undertaken by the author in 2010.
Beyond the sublime photographs of this legendary journey from Toulouse to Cap Juby, "Breguet XIV, from the trenches to the Aéropostale" offers a unique historical and technical approach to the Little Prince's aircraft: from the fascinating history of the Breguet XIV to the reconstruction of the Breguet 14 F-POST, this book will transport all enthusiasts into the great epic of aviation.
Eugène Bellet is an aviation historian, amateur aircraft builder and private pilot. Founder of the Breguet XIV Association, organizer of numerous air rallies from Toulouse to Saint-Louis in Senegal.

Les avions Breguet (Vol. 2) - Le règne du monoplan
Chief engineer Vullierme having been replaced by Georges Ricard (he would be reassigned to the helicopter subsidiary), Louis Breguet allowed himself to be drawn into modernity and after 1933 had bombing, transport and support monoplanes created, while continuing at the beginning with the Bizerte biplane seaplanes. His factories, nationalized but replaced by those acquired from Latécoère, revived after the wartime bombings, housed a high-quality Design Office whose versatility extended to gliders, helicopters, transport (the Deux-Ponts), naval aviation (the Alizé) and a few other areas to be discovered in this volume.
Breguet explores the new path of the blown wing. Financially weakened, the Company demonstrates great technical (Jaguar, Atlantic, Alphajet) and diplomatic (in the management of cooperative programs) qualities. Still penniless, it was taken over by Dassault from 1971, into which it gradually merged.
This 2nd volume, the material of the central part of which had been treated by Cuny and Leyvastre in a book now out of print, renews through the text and illustrations the image of this pillar of the French aeronautical heritage.

Les avions Breguet (Vol. 2) - Le règne du monoplan
The Breguet 693 had its baptism of fire in May 1940: eleven aircraft of the GBA 1/54 were engaged in the Maastricht region against the German columns. Unfortunately, the ground assault tactics used proved disastrous, making the aircraft particularly vulnerable and ten of them, decimated by Flak, did not return.
A twin-engine, two-seater bomber carrying a pilot and a gunner placed back to back, the Breguet 693 was also one of the first French aircraft to be equipped with radio. Like many units, the assault groups were withdrawn to North Africa and due to the German occupation, the model did not see any further development.
The Breguet Alizé, a carrier-based aircraft designed for anti-submarine warfare, was developed from the Breguet Br 960 Vultur. The first prototype made its maiden flight in October 1956, but the first pre-production examples were not delivered until 1959 following a long modification period.
In France, the aircraft were used on the aircraft carriers Clémenceau, Foch and Arromanches and on land for training. They were engaged for numerous reconnaissance missions in Lebanon in the 1980s, in the Persian Gulf during Operation Salamandre, then in Kosovo in 1999 as part of NATO. The last aircraft was withdrawn from service in 2000 with the reform of the Foch. This book tells the whole story.
