PZL Mielec - Aviation Production History / Historia lotniczej produkcji
This book presents the history of Poland's Army co-operation and attack aircraft used in 1939. The P.23 Karas ("crucian carp") was deployed against German ground forces and the Luftwaffe at the beginning of the war.
This revised and updated edition is based on the original 2004 publication and remains the only English-language study dedicated to this aircraft, which was the first from any nation to confront the Luftwaffe in 1939.
The book includes 1/72 scale drawings of all versions, images and diagrams from pre-war technical manuals, rare black-and-white photographs from the period, and detailed colour illustrations showing camouflage and markings.
