Pützer-Flugzeuge: Alfons Pützer KG, Pützer Kunststofftechnik KG (PKT), Sportavia-Pützer GmbH & Co. KG
Alfons Pützer is one of the co-founders of post-war aircraft construction in West Germany. In a remarkable way, Alfons Pützer managed to establish his private aircraft company in the difficult years of rebuilding the German aviation industry, even without the financial backing of a larger corporation.
Even at a time when the construction of motor aircraft was still prohibited by the Allies in the young Federal Republic, the first gliders were built in the Pützer company in Bonn, which were already prepared for later motorization.
Alfons Pützer presented his first motor aircraft, the "Moraa", just a few days after the lifting of the aircraft construction ban in 1955. Alfons Pützer became famous with his "Elster", which was mass-produced in Bonn from 1958.
August 3 2018 marked the 100th anniversary of Alfons Pützer's birthday. To mark this occasion, the authors have dedicated this volume to the life and work of Alfons Pützer, as well as the history of his Pützer aircraft construction company in Bonn and Sportavia-Pützer GmbH & Co KG, which he co-founded in the Eifel region of Germany, on the Dahlemer Binz.
