Twin Cessna : The Cessna 300 and 400 Series of Light Twins
Introduced in 1953, the Cessna 310 marked a major step forward in general aviation. It remained in production for almost thirty years, with nearly 6.000 aircraft built.
This book reviews the origins, competitors, and development of the Cessna 310, including its many variants. It also covers ownership and operation, visible differences between models, and common aftermarket upgrades. The scope then extends to the closely related Cessna 320 and the later "cabin class" twins: the Cessna 340, 335, and 303.
A second section examines the larger cabin twins of the Cessna 400 series, from the Cessna 411 through to the turboprop Cessna 425, the 441 Conquest II, and the Reims Cessna F406 Caravan II. This family includes nine distinct aircraft types. The book also features selected pilot stories, including accounts of flying the Cessna 404 Titan, and provides a clear guide to identifying the different models and sub-variants within the Cessna 400 series.
