Hegeman 1923-2009

Este libro describe la historia de la empresa de transporte Hegeman de Huissen (NL), desde su fundación en 1923 hasta su quiebra en 2009.
Hegeman se hizo conocido por los Macks rojos utilizados en el transporte de piedras. A finales de los años 60, el azul se convirtió en el color estándar.
El libro analiza adquisiciones clave, como J.L. Koot NV Rotterdam en 1968, Gebr. Abrahams en 1976 y Hoogveld Angeren en 1999. También se menciona la creación de una GmbH en 1978.
Con aproximadamente 500 fotos, el libro ofrece una visión completa de todas las marcas de camiones que utilizaron en Hegeman.

Diepe sporen - Grondverzet in de jaren vijftig, zestig en zeventig

Arie Pieters, residente de 's-Gravendeel, se dedica a la fotografía, la redacción publicitaria y el periodismo independiente para un periódico regional, entre otras actividades. En 2017 publicó el folleto «Everyone loves Jimmy», donde describe el papel que desempeñó el legendario GMC CCKW durante la reconstrucción de los Países Bajos tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Muchos GMC permanecieron en servicio durante décadas, principalmente como camiones volquete civiles.

En «Diepe sporen», el GMC también desempeña un papel importante, al igual que los camiones volquete REO, Henschel, Tatra y otros. Además, la excavadora de arrastre aparece de forma natural, ya que mover tierras sin ella era impensable entre 1950 y 1980.

Geroeste trucks en bussen

A worn and rusted truck or bus is a beautiful sight to behold. Many of these vehicles end up at dealers or at the scrapyard after an intensive and hard-working life. For years, the trucks and sometimes the buses are left at a location to slowly decay. Dull and green, they wait for better times.

Visiting a scrapyard in particular is a real experience. The vehicles are often higgledy-piggledy and sometimes they are completely absorbed by nature. It gives a very special feeling to walk around among all those old vehicles.

Fortunately, there are several enthusiastic people who have been to the sites and have taken the most beautiful photos. These photos have been collected and a selection has been made that gives a nice overview of the "heritage of Dutch road transport" in a rusted state. The atmosphere of the scrapyards in particular has been captured as much as possible in this book.

Vehicles in their final years have also been included in the book. There are photos of; front-wheel drive and torpedo trucks, buses, vans, tractors, box trucks, concrete mixers, fire engines, fairground trucks, tippers, gully emptiers, military trucks, tow trucks, tankers and garbage trucks. The buses are given attention in a separate chapter.
