Allgaier und Porsche-Diesel 1945-1962 (Typenkompass)
Founded in 1906 in Hattenhofen, Georg Allgaier's company introduced its first tractor, the R 18, in 1946. However, development did not stop there. After the end of Allied control, Allgaier collaborated with Professor Porsche, leading to the creation of the legendary Porsche tractor.
From 1956, production continued in partnership with Mannesmann at an assembly plant in Friedrichshafen until it ceased in 1962.
This book provides a concise and expert overview of all major Allgaier and Porsche tractor models. Each type is presented with images, historical background, and technical data.
