Güldner - Alle Traktoren 1938-1969 (Typenkompass)
Güldner started as an engine manufacturer and sold his engines not only to other agricultural machinery producers but also used them in his own tractors, which he developed since 1931. After World War II, Güldner initially produced smaller two-stroke tractors, but in the early 1960s, he expanded his product range to include larger models. The tractors with the shark mouth design and the Europa series became particularly well-known. By the end of the decade, however, Güldner could not withstand the growing competition.
Ulf Kaack summarizes the history of the Güldner brand in this book. Each tractor type is presented with a photo, a historical description, and a technical data sheet.
Hugo Güldner, one of the leading engine designers of his time, founded the Güldner Motor Company in 1904 and started building tractors in 1938. This book comprehensively documents the history of the Güldner brand, its tractors, and engines.
