Massey Ferguson 100 Series in Detail
Following his successful books on the Ferguson TE20 and Massey Ferguson 35 & 65 models, Michael Thorne focuses on the popular and successful 100 Series tractors, including the best-selling 135 and 165 models, with 500.000 and 98.000 units produced, respectively. In this book, Thorne explores the development of the 100 Series, building on the earlier 35 and 65 models, and provides detailed descriptions of key models: the 130, 135, 148 Super Spec, 165, 168, 175 (the largest tractor), 178, 185, and 188 Super Spec. The book also covers topics like Implements, Conversions & Accessories, the 100 Series overseas, and the tractors still in use today.

Launched in 1958 as the successor to the popular Ferguson TE20, the Massey Ferguson 35 was a result of the Massey-Harris and Ferguson merger. It introduced many improvements and new features, quickly becoming a global success. Shortly after, the larger Massey Ferguson 65 was introduced, offering the innovative Multi Power system, which provided 12 forward and four reverse gears. Known for their durability and versatility, these tractors remain valuable today, with even unrestored models fetching high prices. Michael Thorne, author of "Ferguson TE20 in Detail", continues the story by exploring the development of these models, their production versions, features, options, attachments, and their current use. The book showcases around 80 photographs of exceptional surviving examples, along with approximately 120 archival illustrations.
