Holder - Einachsschlepper und Traktoren - seit 1930 (Typenkompass)
Founded in 1888, the Holder brothers developed the world's first automatic crop protection machine in their machine workshop in Urach, Swabia, and quickly established themselves as specialists in spraying and crop protection equipment, as well as tillers and hoes. Another stroke of genius by the siblings was the introduction of the single-axle tractor, the small agricultural machine that replaced the horse in many small businesses.
Holder products were very inexpensive and also enjoyed a reputation for being indestructible. In the decades that followed, Holder continued to expand its position as a leading provider of narrow-track tractors for difficult slopes.
For each type covered, this Typenkompass book contains a photo, a historical description and technical data.
