Fiat Farm Tractors: Illustrated History Books & Guides

Explore the best illustrated books on Fiat farm tractors. Discover the history, models and evolution of Fiat agricultural tractors. Perfect for enthousiasts, collectors, and anyone passionate about Fiat..

Fiat Tractors - from 1919 to the present

Fiat's first agricultural tractor was presented to the civil and military authorities of Turin in 1918 and marketed the following year by the Federation of Agricultural Consortia. Thus began Fiat's activity in the agricultural sector, in which it is now a global player with the CNH-Case-New Holland marque.

This book uses original photographic documentation to illustrate the origins and development of the company's agricultural products, tackling the technical and human aspects of a story that has seen the introduction of over 500 models since 1918. This is the first comprehensive study of the Turin-based firm's history in the agricultural sector.

This updated edition includes all the new Holland new series presented from 2008 up to 2011. In 240 pages, with a vast range of black and white and full colour photographs, it presents an overview of a fascinating yet still relatively neglected side of the company.

FIAT la piccola - Primi passi della bicicletta dei campi

This book aims to introduce the early story of the Fiat 18 "La Piccola" to general readers. Unlike the detailed "Piccola Mia" volume, this edition keeps things simple. Readers interested in learning more can later explore the full history from 1952 to 1986.
The chapters here are taken from Volume 1, and some technical pages are not included to keep it short. The introduction shares my childhood memories and love for farming and the little tractor. It also mentions key companies like Fratelli Calzolari, Ulisse Bubba, Selene, Miletto, and SILMS, which helped grow the "Piccola" success.
A book for Fiat tractor fans, farming history lovers, and anyone curious about agriculture's past.

Piccola mia (1): Trattore Fiat 18 - Dalle origini alla serie 18 (1952-1958)

The first volume on the Fiat 18 "La Piccola" overs the years 1952 to 1958, a period in which the project matured, prototypes were built and tested, and the tractor was launched on the market.
The book describes the early prototypes, pre-production models, and the first production version, along with around twenty of the many variants developed from the original design over the following thirty years. Technical specifications and production figures are included.

It also introduces the first companies that played a role in the early growth of the "Piccola" phenomenon, such as Fratelli Calzolari, Ulisse Bubba, Selene, Miletto, and SILMS.
This illustrated volume is intended for Fiat tractor enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, and those interested in the history of agricultural machinery.

Piccola mia (2): Trattore Fiat 18 - La serie 200 (1959-1965)

Volume Two covers the years 1959 to 1965, a key period of rapid development for the Fiat 18 compact tractor. During these six years, the project saw major growth, combining industrial planning with significant input from smaller workshops. This led to the creation of two main versions and several variations.

The book details the transition from the original "La Piccola" to the 200 Series and its two updates, describing different configurations, modifications, uses, and many previously unpublished technical features. It also examines the role of companies like Selene, Faraguti, and Officine Calzolari, offering insight not only into their technical contributions but also the stories of the people behind them.
