Porsche Turbo
When Porsche introduced turbocharging to racing in the form of the 917 Can-Am, the small German manufacturer changed the face of motorsport. But it didn't stop at racing: it chose to apply the technology to touring models as well.
By installing a turbocharged version of its air-cooled six-cylinder engine in its famous 911, it gave birth to the 930 Turbo. From the moment it appeared in the spring of 1975, it revolutionized the concept of the supercar.
Over the years, the manufacturer has applied its pioneering technology to every model in the range, from the Cayenne SUV to its latest supercar, the 887 hp 918 Spyder.
"Porsche Turbo" presents the complete history of turbocharged Porsches, including the 935 924 944, Cayman and Panamera.
