Tracteurs Lanz 1908-1962
Lanz? More than just a name, a myth! The authors, passionate about old and modern tractors, take the reader from 1859 to the present day aboard these legendary tractors and give them a behind-the-scenes look at this brand that has accompanied many agricultural revolutions around the world!
Lanz Bulldog: once advertised as a tractor of world renown and as the best-selling German tractor, it became a legend during its construction period and has now become a cult object. In over 30 years of the Lanz Bulldog vintage car phenomenon, several books have been published on the subject. The type's history has been almost completely researched and put on paper. Unfortunately, there are hardly any printed materials that focus on contemporary photos. Historical photographs of motorcycles, automobiles and tractors are unique documents that, in addition to technical details, tell a lot about the people who used them and the working and living conditions at the time.
With this volume of its photo album series, the publisher would like to snatch some of these photos from drawers and shoe boxes and make them available to the fan community. The available image material is so extensive that only a small part can be reproduced in this book. The selection was based - in addition to the quality of the photo and the aesthetic appeal of the motif - on getting as complete a view of the range of models as possible. The models of the individual series are lined up in a meaningful chronology and show the development from the steam engine to the diesel engine. Only contemporary image material was used.
