Güldner - Alle Traktoren 1938-1969 (Typenkompass)
Güldner started out as an engine builder and not only sold its units to competing agricultural machinery manufacturers, but also built them into the tractors it had developed itself since 1931. After the Second World War, Güldner initially produced smaller, two-stroke tractors, but expanded its product range to include larger tractors at the beginning of the 1960s. The models with the shark mouth design and the Europa series became particularly well-known. It was not until the end of the decade that Güldner succumbed to the overwhelming power of strong competitors. Ulf Kaack summarizes the entire story here in the usual compact and strong quality.
Each type is presented with a photo, a historical description and a technical sheet.
Hugo Güldner, one of the best engine designers of his time, founded the Güldner-Motoren-Gesellschaft in 1904 and began building tractors in 1938. The history of this legendary brand with all its tractors and engines is comprehensively documented and illustrated here.
