This is the first Polish publication covering commercial vehicles produced in Comecon countries, the Eastern Bloc, from after World War II until 1990.

The author explains the structure of Comecon and defines commercial vehicles. He presents the manufacturers, their production focus, and selected models of vans, trucks, and buses, including their design, operation, and technical specifications.

Vehicles are grouped by country: Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, the German Democratic Republic, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and the Soviet Union. Each manufacturer and its vehicles are introduced with background chapters on the development of the automotive industry in that country.

Autobusy z Bolechowa 1996-2018: Neoplan, Solaris

This richly illustrated book presents prototypes and serial buses and trolleybuses produced in Bolechowo near Poznań since 1996. The private company of the Olszewski family began with assembly and later developed their own versions of German Neoplan buses. From 1999, vehicles of their own design were produced under the Solaris brand, and from 2001 the Solaris Trollino trolleybuses.

The book also includes visualizations of models that were never produced. Vehicle descriptions are illustrated with numerous photos and drawings and include technical data for selected models.

The manufacturer's success is reflected in the production of over 17.000 buses and trolleybuses in 23 years, with more than 11.000 exported to many countries. Illustrations were provided by Solaris Bus & Coach.

Polskie fabryki samochodów 1946-1989

This publication describes the various Polish manufacturers of passengers cars, vans, trucks and buses. The chapters contain information about their history and achievements in the period from the end of World War II to the fall of the communist system in 1989.
The descriptions of the factories are preceded by introductory chapters containing information about the beginnings of the Polish car industry and its situation in the socialist People's Poland. Manufacturers of specialized and special bodies are also mentioned.

After the political transformation of the state and the introduction of the free market, the factories in question did not cope with external competition. Various organizations, including foreign ones, took them over or they simply collapsed.
However, it is worth remembering the achievements of those factories that were grouped in ZPMot and bearing the Polmo logo. They formed a large socialist automotive concern - which was then an important branch of the Polish industry.

The book includes, among others, descriptions of vehicle factories in Lublin, Starachowice, Bielsko-Biała, Warsaw, Poznań, Jelcz, Sanok, Mielec and Nysa.

The book is pioneering in its approach, revealing many little-known facts about Warsaw's public transport history and providing technical details about the vehicles.
The author used a variety of sources, including contemporary domestic and international materials, as well as original press publications, company brochures, and advertisements from the era.

A richly illustrated book devoted to buses (as well as passenger trailers) produced in 1950-2013 in the Sanok factory, initially called Sanocka Fabryka Wagonów "Sanowag", from 1958 bearing the name Sanocka Fabryka Autosów "Autosan", and from 1991 - Autosan S.A.
The book describes both mass-produced vehicles and prototypes, of which a total of almost 110,000 were produced in the Sanok factory during the period under review.

This book presents 80 years of history of Gdynia's trolleybus network. It describes the development of infrastructure, routes, and vehicles. It includes information on timetables showing changes in transport services, as well as technical details about the vehicles and power supply system.
The content is based on source documents from transport companies and materials from collectors interested in transport history. Press materials from the period, especially from the early decades, were also used.
The book features diagrams, maps, and tables illustrating changes in the trolleybus network and fleet. It also includes graphic visualizations of trolleybuses, accurately depicting individual models.
Numerous photographs of vehicles on the streets, squares, and loops in Gdynia and Sopot enrich the narrative, illustrating each stage of the trolleybus network's development.

Trolejbusy w Polsce
