On the evening of January 22, 1971: the last Parisian Renault TN4HP bus on line 21 returned to the depot: it was the end of the open-platform buses that had been, for several decades, a staple of the landscape and atmosphere of the streets of Paris. Despite their anachronism, they were loved by Parisians who have not forgotten them.

Through the author's period photos, all unpublished, this book evokes the 1960s which saw the gradual disappearance of these buses in favor of more modern vehicles. We find them line by line in Paris as well as in the suburbs, which has, in passing, the merit of making us rediscover the daily life of an era in full change.
