This book is a spare parts catalogue for the FSO Warszawa 204 and 204P models. It also presents the history and development of the Warszawa car. In August 1964, production of the updated sedan resumed. After 13 years, the body received a more modern look, marking an important stage in the model's development.

This update, known at FSO as a "threshold modernisation, " began the creation of newer variants and increased interest in the car, reflected in higher production.
The Warszawa 203 used the S-21 engine, while the 204 used the M-20 engine. They also differed in rear axle ratios: 4.55: 1 for the S-21 and 5.125: 1 for the M-20.

The introduction of the 203/204 made it possible to develop further versions. In 1964 the 203P/204P pick-ups appeared, followed in 1965 by the 203K/204K estate cars and 203T/204T taxis, and in 1967 by the 203A ambulance based on the 203K.
