Le Saviem SG2 de mon père
You know the SG2! It's this little blue truck with a brick red chassis, bumpers and rims... But it is also and above all an entire part of the history of "modern" France, a hard worker without whom nothing could have been built, developed, transformed, in short, done in France during the famous Trente Glorieuses. The SG2 is one of the first children of Saviem, the leading conglomerate of industrial vehicle manufacturers in France and Europe.
The SG2 therefore deserved a book all to itself. We will not ignore its "brothers in work", the front-wheel drive SB2, but also the little-known SG1 or the Alfa Romeo, MAN or Avia versions. While thinking, of course, of the works born from the bubbling minds of genius coachbuilders.
- Richly illustrated, this book is dedicated to the Saviem SG2 from 1965-1982.
- Retraces in detail the history and evolution of the Super Goélette.
- This volume of the collection "La voiture de mon père" is not only a source of in-depth information for the owner, but also a concise guide to originality.
- The technique, variants, modifications and special versions are described in detail.
- Also deals with manufacturing abroad.
- Contains 250 period photos, often unpublished.
