Die Stärkste: SBB Re 6/6 - Sechsachsige Güterzuglok Re 620
The SBB Re 6/6 was designed to relieve the aging Ae 6/6, particularly on the Gotthard route. The test runs of the prototype locomotives 11601 and 11602 began on May 15 and June 5, 1972. Delivery of the first series started in 1975, followed by a second series from the end of 1977 to the end of 1980. A total of four prototypes and 85 series machines were built. With a power output of 10.600 hp, the Re 6/6 is considered the strongest Swiss locomotive.
This book provides insights into the planning, construction, and deployment of this impressive six-axle machine. Many previously unpublished photos make it a must-have for any Swiss railway enthusiast.

Loks und Triebwagen der SBB - Schweizerische Bundesbahnen seit 1902
In his tried and tested form, Cyrill Seifert presents in his new book all the locomotives and railcars of the Swiss Bundesbahns (SBB), founded in 1902, in words and pictures. Not only the most modern vehicles with three-phase drive are presented, but also some of their ancestors from the long-ended steam locomotive era.
In short and competent texts, the author describes not only the history and development, but also the technology of the individual vehicles. Tables with the most important technical data and a list of abbreviations complete this informative work for all fans of the Swiss railway.
