Deutsche Motorradmarken - Wichtige kleine Hersteller (Band 2) - Göricke bis Meister (Typenkompass)
After the currency reform in the summer of 1948, bicycle manufacturers sprang up like mushrooms, focusing on motorized two-wheelers. Customers literally snatched the machines out of the hands of the manufacturers - there were around 45 of them in 1949/50. Production figures rose rapidly until the sudden collapse in 1954.
This second volume of the Typenkompass series about the small German motorcycle brands (which were not always really small) includes those manufacturers and producers who built motor bicycles and motorcycles: A comprehensive overview of German motorcycle history from Göricke to Meister.
