In this sixth and final illustrated book on the Esslingen machine factory, Alexander Weber presents the company's steam locomotive production, which has been the basis of the group since its founding in 1846 and the nucleus of the later L department.
In almost 120 years, this has produced locomotive classics such as the Württemberg classes C and K, the Reichsbahn standard locomotives of the series 44, 50, 64 and others, the last DB steam locomotive series 23 and numerous other designs for domestic and foreign customers.

Vectron - Moderne Siemens-Lokomotiven für Europa

Ten years ago, Siemens presented the "Vectron", a new locomotive platform for European traffic. It is the technical successor to the tried and tested Siemens locomotives of the EuroSprinter family and has quickly become a real bestseller at Siemens. Within just ten years, the production mark of the 1000th machine was reached.

The largest part of the Vectron platform is made up of modern electric locomotives, which are produced as two-system alternating current locomotives (Vectron AC), as pure direct current locomotives (Vectron DC) or as multi-system locomotives (Vectron MS) depending on the purpose and area of use.
In recent years, further variants have been added, including the "Smartron" as a low-cost alternating current single-system locomotive, the diesel locomotive Vectron DE and the combined diesel/electric locomotive Vectron DM (dual mode).

The range of images extends from the Stuttgart-Berg horse-drawn tram to the most successful product of the Esslingen tram construction, the GT4 railcar. The second focus is on the funicular railways, which the manufacturer was also able to sell successfully abroad.
An excellent illustrated book with many previously unpublished photographs and at the same time a profound reference work.

Maybach-Motoren und Automobile im Rhein-Neckar-Dreieck und der Pfalz

Este libro abarca todos los vehículos propulsados por motores Maybach, ya sean terrestres, acuáticos e aéreos, dentro o fuera de la región designada. El origen de esta documentación fue el primer paso de un dirigible Zeppelin, el LZ 4, sobre la región los días 4 y 5 de agosto de 1908. Numerosos cruces de dirigibles legendarios siguieron hasta 1940.
