Citroën - Ses poids lourds & autocars 1929-1974

In 1919, André Citroën introduced his first car, the 10 HP, available in several versions, including a light utility vehicle. Soon, new variants emerged, such as half-tracks, small buses, and a vineyard tractor.

It took ten years before Citroën launched a real truck, though the first model, with a 1.5-ton payload, was quite modest. However, with the C6 and its successors, the brand built a reputation for sturdy vehicles.

This book explores the history of Citroën trucks, buses, and coaches, from factory models to customized versions, including 4x4 conversions by specialists in France and abroad. It traces the company's progress from its early days to the K-series models of the 1970s, developed in collaboration with Berliet.
With 600 rare and previously unpublished images, the book immerses readers in the world of truck drivers and France of the past. It also reveals Citroën prototypes and projects that never reached production.
