Kreidler - Geschichte, Typen, Technik
Kreidler - another painful chapter in German motorcycle history is linked to this name. After a rise lasting around 100 years, the company's decline began in the early 1980s. This decline didn't come out of nowhere, as it was already becoming clear in 1975 that Kreidler was falling behind the emerging Japanese manufacturers.
This publication aims to remove the history of the Kreidler company from an isolated perspective and integrate it more strongly into the context of the history of technology, in order to enable the reader to better understand the sociological and economic mechanisms behind the company's more than 100-year history.
Furthermore, the book aims to make previously unpublished images available to the reader.
