Das Neue Puch-Buch - Die Zweiräder von 1890-1987

This updated and expanded new edition of the work "The Great Puch Book", which was first published 30 years ago, can justifiably be described as the "Puch Bible" in terms of detail and scope.

With 648 pages, over 1,000 pictures and illustrations (some of which have never been published before) as well as reports, interviews and comments by contemporary witnesses, the author created this standard work (weight: 3 kg!) on the products of Austria's largest and most important two-wheeler factory in the 20th century.

Puch Motorräder 1900-1987

Johann Puch's first production facility was on Strauchergasse in Graz. As happened in many places in the 1920s and 1930s, Austro-Daimler-Puchwerke AG merged with Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG in 1934.
After being converted to armaments production during the Second World War, peaceful vehicles followed once again after the end of the war. After almost 100 years of production history, the trademark rights went to Piaggio, which produced bicycles and mopeds with the Puch logo until the turn of the millennium.

Puch - Mopeds, Roller & Kleinkrafträder

In its 100-year history, the Puch factory in Graz has achieved tremendous technical achievements in motorizing the population of Austria and the rest of the world.
With the appearance of the first single-seater moped in 1954 - in modest "mouse gray" - a unique success story began. It began with the "Styriette" in the pre-war period. The incredible success story reached its peak in an almost unfathomable variety of models and ended with the sale to Piaggio.

This book endeavours to present the variety of models as comprehensively as possible. However, some export models for Scandinavia, the Netherlands and the USA would exceed the scope of this book.
The graphics department of the Puch works in Graz was unrivalled in terms of creativity and in the design of the colourful brochures. These brochures, some of which also contain the technical data of the individual models, are intended to help Puch enthusiasts to identify their vehicles and to assist in the restoration of these long-lasting companions.
The more than 550 colour illustrations are a feast for the eyes for Puch fans and nostalgics and, for many, a journey back in time to their own youth.
