VW Kübelwagen Typ 82

The VW Kübelwagen Type 82 was the most-produced vehicle of its type in Germany between 1940 and 1945. Developed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1938 from the civilian KdF-Wagen, the Type 82 became a workhorse on all fronts in World War II.

What set the VW Kübelwagen apart was its off-road capability, its relatively low development costs and its unproblematic operational capability even under difficult climatic conditions.
