In 1929, BSA introduced an innovative front-wheel-drive three-wheeler, leading to more conventional front-wheel-drive models, including the Three Wheeler, FW32, T9, and Scout. These models were considered groundbreaking, as BSA pioneered large-scale front-wheel-drive production worldwide, a concept now common in the automotive industry. However, due to wartime needs, car production halted in 1940.
