Jung Lokomotiven - Lokomotivfabrik in Jungenthal 1885-1987 (Band 2) - Bauarten und Typen

After the great success of the first volume, which deals primarily with the history of the Siegerland locomotive forge between 1885 and 1987, the focus now is on the locomotives in detail: state railway and Reichsbahn locomotives, rack locomotives, fireless locomotives, the legendary type families for steam and diesel field railway locomotives, narrow-gauge electric locomotive veterans, narrow-gauge locomotives, mine locomotives, brigade and army field railway locomotives and much more.

All types, all designs, all locomotive families: competently and knowledgeably described by the two authors Stefan Lauscher and Gerhard Moll, precisely documented with drawings and hundreds of previously unpublished photos.

As an additional highlight, the book contains a data DVD with a complete delivery and whereabouts list of all around 13 000 locomotives built by Jung, as well as extensive bonus material in the form of additional photos, film clips and drawings.
The result is a unique encyclopedia that is unparalleled in the literature on German locomotive factories.

Fotoalbum der Maschinenfabrik Esslingen: Dampflokomotiven

In this sixth and final illustrated book on the Esslingen machine factory, Alexander Weber presents the company's steam locomotive production, which has been the basis of the group since its founding in 1846 and the nucleus of the later L department.
In almost 120 years, this has produced locomotive classics such as the Württemberg classes C and K, the Reichsbahn standard locomotives of the series 44, 50, 64 and others, the last DB steam locomotive series 23 and numerous other designs for domestic and foreign customers.

Fotoalbum der Maschinenfabrik Esslingen: Personen- und Güterwagen

In 1846, Emil Kessler founded the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen, which within a few years became one of the leading industrial groups in what was then the Kingdom of Württemberg. In addition to all types of rail vehicles, the company also offered steam boilers, compressors, refrigeration machines, bridges, steel structures, railway safety technology, electric vehicles and much more.

In this illustrated book on the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen, Alexander Weber takes a look at wagon construction. Since 1846, alongside locomotive production, it was the second, often overlooked, mainstay of ME's rail vehicle production and thus played a decisive role in the development and expansion of the railway system - until production was discontinued in 1965.

Fotoalbum der Maschinenfabrik Esslingen: Straßenbahnen und Seilbahnen

In this volume about the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen, Alexander Weber focuses on the trams that the Esslingen machine factory produced between 1868 and 1966.
The range of images extends from the Stuttgart-Berg horse-drawn tram to the most successful product of the Esslingen tram construction, the GT4 railcar. The second focus is on the funicular railways, which the manufacturer was also able to sell successfully abroad.
An excellent illustrated book with many previously unpublished photographs and at the same time a profound reference work.

Fotoalbum der Maschinenfabrik Esslingen: Triebwagen

This fifth illustrated book on the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen is about railcar production, which always had a special status in Esslingen. These railcars are now considered milestones in railway vehicle production in Germany.
Alexander Weber has once again succeeded in gathering a wealth of background information on the individual vehicles. The main advantage of the book is the unique photographs taken during the production and delivery of the railcars.
