Laverda Twins & Triples Bible: 650 & 750cc Twins - 1000 & 1200cc Triples
This book presents a clear and detailed history of the Italian motorcycle maker Laverda and its machines. The brand gained an almost fanatical following for its bold design and engineering.
Laverda's large twin- and triple-cylinder motorcycles were among the most distinctive and exciting bikes of their era. A strong endurance racing program helped build a reputation for strength and reliability that was unusual for Italian motorcycles at the time.
Developed mainly for the British market, the 1000 cc Jota was the fastest superbike of its day. While the twins disappeared before the end of the 1970s, the triples remained in production for almost another ten years.

As the market changed, the company faced serious financial problems and eventually entered receivership. Although Laverda returned briefly in the 1990s, its lasting fame rests on the classic twins and triples produced from the late 1960s to the mid-1980s.
The book is written by leading motorcycle historian Ian Falloon, who owns a small collection of classic sport motorcycles, including a Laverda 750 SFC.
