This book presents the history of Bedford's camper and motorhome models, developed from one of Britain's best-known commercial vehicle brands. From the 1930s to the late 1980s Bedford vans were widely used by companies of all sizes, valued for their reliability across the UK and abroad.

As motorcaravanning grew in popularity in the mid-1950s, many converters chose the Bedford CA light commercial van, first introduced in 1951, as the basis for compact but comfortable camper designs. The later CF models continued this success, offering practical dimensions and improved comfort. Additional models, including the smaller HA and the later Midi and Rascal ranges, expanded Bedford's suitability for a wide variety of leisure conversions.

The book, written by Martin Watts, founder of the Classic Camper Club, provides a complete account of every Bedford-based camper and motorhome, supported by detailed illustrations and period material.
