Unimog - Weltweit im Einsatz

Bij Mercedes-Benz in Wörth werden in april 2013 de Unimog series 405 "geländegängige Geräteträger" en 437.4 "hochgeländegängige Fahrzeuge" voorgesteld.
In dit zeer rijk geïllustreerde Unimog boek gaat Ralf Maile uitvoerig in op deze actuele series. Vervolgens vertrekt hij dan op een fotografische reis in de tijd, die de wereldwijde inzet van de talrijke Unimog-series over verschillende decennia beschrijft.

Rond 770 meestal niet eerder gepubliceerde foto's van hoge kwaliteit tonen de Unimog in actie in zijn natuurlijke omgeving: bij gemeenten, reddingsdiensten, in de bouw, bij de brandweer, als bosbouwtrekker, in de weg-rail inzet en in militaire dienst.

When illustrating the book, the author was able to draw on a huge pool of first-class, previously unknown photographs.
