DDR-Traktoren aus Nordhausen (Schrader Typen Chronik)

After the Second World War, the later GDR was at a great disadvantage in tractor and tow tractor construction. Only two classic manufacturers, both based in Nordhausen, remained in the Soviet occupation zone and had to start practically from scratch.

The merged Nordhausen works were therefore only able to start modest series production in 1949. Although they had prepared themselves for a great future in tractor construction, the merged Nordhausen works had to cease production in October 1965 by government decree.

NOWOŚĆ

W pierwszych latach powojennych rolnictwo w Niemczech Wschodnich pilnie potrzebowało nowych maszyn. Produkcja ciągników w sowieckiej strefie okupacyjnej, od 10/1949 w Niemieckiej Republice Demokratycznej, rozpoczęła się w bardzo trudnych warunkach.
Już w 1951 roku utworzenie kombinatu Fortschritt w Neustadt/Saksonii doprowadziło do koncentracji przemysłu maszyn rolniczych. Ostatecznie z licznych pierwotnych producentów pozostała jedynie fabryka ciągników w Schönebeck.

Verdiente Aktivisten - Traktoren und Ackerschlepper der DDR

Podobnie jak w Niemczech Zachodnich, rolnictwo w Niemczech Wschodnich po wojnie pilnie potrzebowało nowych maszyn. Jednak podczas gdy produkcja ciągników na Zachodzie szybko ruszyła ponownie, wznowienie jej w Radzieckiej Strefie Okupacyjnej, która w październiku 1949 roku stała się Niemiecką Republiką Demokratyczną, było znacznie trudniejsze.
