In the second volume of his color documentation, the well-known Austrian specialist author and railway historian Dipl. Ing. Eduard Saßmann presents historical photographs from his archive of scheduled steam operations in Austria from 1958 onwards!

This is followed by the use of steam locomotives in the ÖBB directorates Linz and Villach as well as on the Graz-Köflacher Railway and on the famous Austro-Hungarian private railway GySEV.
The representative selection of route images is supplemented with rare photographs of operations in the train haulage and steam locomotive repairs in the main workshop in Knittelfeld.
