BSA Service Sheets - A7 & A10 Pre Unit (1947-1962)
After World War II, BSA resumed civilian motorcycle production in 1945. They continued their pre-war practice of issuing 'Service Sheets' for repair and technical information, which were initially exclusive to dealers and often had inconsistent print quality. It wasn't until the early 1960s that BSA began publishing model-specific workshop manuals for the general public.
This manual is a comprehensive compilation of BSA's service sheets from the late 1950s and early 1960s, identified by part numbers 00-4017 (pre-swing arm) and 00-4047 (swing arm). These sheets, totaling 44 in number when excluding duplicates, cover various aspects of pre-unit A7 and A10 models from 1947 to 1962.
In addition to these service sheets, 14 more sheets from a 'dealer-only' ring binder publication were included, resulting in a single manual comprising 58 service sheets, spanning 190 pages. This manual offers a valuable resource for those interested in maintaining and understanding the entire range of pre-unit A7 and A10 models.
