Deze nieuwe, volledig gekleurde editie van de encyclopedie van Franse tractoren beschrijft de geschiedenis van landbouwmachines van de oorsprong tot vandaag. De eerste editie uit 1998 vermeldde meer dan 200 merken op basis van advertenties en vakbladen en werd een referentie voor liefhebbers.

Dit tweede deel over trekkers in de Franse landbouw gaat terug naar de jaren kort na de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Autoconstructeurs zoals Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, Delahaye, De-Dion, D.F.P., Fiat en Austin wagen hun kans en brengen betaalbare landbouwtrekkers uit.

How can we think of the contemporary agricultural world without imagining a tractor, often brightly colored, boldly crossing a freshly plowed field... An evocation closely linked to our landscapes.
