Railatlas Rotterdam - 140 jaar tramrails in de Maasstad
Not much has been written about the infrastructure of the Rotterdam tram network. An initial exploration showed that only a small amount of documentation existed or had been preserved.
The loss of many (construction) drawings from the Municipal Works as a result of the bombing of 14 May 1940 meant that many other paths had to be explored for this historical research.
Reconstructing the Rotterdam tram network over the years therefore became a real quest in which many puzzle pieces had to be put in the right place.
