Guia de la Artilleria Española 1900-2020
This book is a tour of the old fortified artillery batteries that dot the Spanish coast. Most of the fixed positions that have been used throughout the 20th century on the peninsula, islands and the Protectorate are described. In the book, 395 artillery locations have been studied, with their history and vicissitudes. The GPS position of all of them has also been added to facilitate the visit for any interested reader.
The text contains more than 800 images, aerial photographs and location plans of the different places, as well as a brief review of the history, materials and organisation of this unknown branch of the Spanish artillery, which disappeared in 2008. The work consists of 368 pages, with black and white images.
